Liquid Marble Decorative Mural

This hand-painted “liquid marble” mural was inspired by the movement of water and all things flowing. Artist, Nichole Blackburn, created this decorative wall finish by using classical marbling techniques she learned while studying in Europe. Nichole and her team modernized the old-world marbling techniques to create a contemporary and unique monochromatic mural. Nichole Blackburn worked closely with celebrity interior designer, Diann Valentine, to create over 3,500 sq ft of custom mural work throughout this private home located in Bel Air, Los Angeles, California. Shown here is the hallway area to the dining room, kitchen, and breakfast nook. An important part of this mural is that unlike wallpaper, there are no repeat patterns. This mural was designed specifically for this house. Every detail is custom painted to compliment the architecture.
